Mechanic notes: This Intrepid currently has approximately 149,865 miles on
it. The vehicle is in very good condition for the mileage. I
replaced both lower ball joints and the right outer tie rod. The rest of
the suspension and steering is in good condition. A front end alignment
and New York State Inspection was done at Tire World in Corning on
01/24/05. All the tires are Bridgestone Insignia radials, size
225/60R16. The front tires are new, the rear tires are at 60 to 70%.
The brakes are good. The front brakes appear relatively new. The
vehicle rides smooth, no unusual tire, brake, or suspension
noise.
The
vehicle has a 3.5 liter V-6 engine. I replaced the intake manifold gasket
which cleared up a slight engine skip. The ignition wires are new and the
spark plugs are nearly new. The oil and filter appear to have been changed
recently. The engine pulls strong and smooth. The transmission
shifts properly. The transmission was rebuilt or replaced by Klopp's
Transmission on 10/02/02 when the vehicle mileage was 116,750.
